Intake Coordinator @ St James Church Food Pantry, Chicago

I was involved with the intake process of the clients of the food pantry. I ensued that each client was registered in the system so that food would be given out. I also screened clients that were coming in for the first time to ensure that this food pantry was the most suitable depending on their current residence.
Interaction with the clients was essential so that the best program with food could be given out to ensure that everyone receives an equal share.

Main duties were to handle day to day mass services that were held in the church. Represented the Altar Servers at Church meetings.
During major feast day celebrations, liaised with locals parishioners including the priest to plan out the flow of events. Besides this, organized duties to members during normal and feast day mass services.
Organized camps specially to teach and educate members on the rite of mass. Organized fund raisers to help finance the camps.

For the Spring semester, organized a sports fiesta event that included five games which were badminton, indoor soccer, basketball, dodgeball and swimming over a period of one month. Was involved in planning, organization of duties for each sport and finances.
